So, uhm..
I’ve just had a look at this year’s schedule for the North Sea Jazz Festival and.. it’s nice and complicated!

Friday, July 11:

• My girl Jill Scott; Adele, the New Girl; Cassandra Wilson, a Voice
• Instrumental: Herbie Hancock Quintet and Ron Carter Quartet

Saturday, July 12:

• Victor Wooten (HellYeah!); Roy Hargrove Quintet
• Vocalists: José James; Chaka Kahn (can the lady still do it?)
• Paul Simon; Christian Prommer’s Drumlesson (yes, HF..)

Sunday, July 13:

• Brad Mehldau Trio(Sweetness..)
• Pete Philly and Perquisite
• Bobby Hutcherson Quartet

Now, I’m not sure if I’ll be doing all three days again, I really want to see Mehldau, but the rest of the schedule that day seems a bit thin, we’ll see!
Another chance to see Jill from Philly is great too!

I do love me some music, boyz-n-girlz..

Another year, another film festival. Didn’t break my record of movies seen (23 last year), even had fun going to some of the festival parties in the closing weekend.
Had brilliant Monday after the last crew party: took the day off, heheh..

Best movie: Fear(s) Of The Dark (and scariest..)
Best FeelGood movie: Juno
Most Intense movie: Men’s Group
Most Disappointing movie: Let’s Finish!!!

Oh, check out the list of the Audience Awards for this years festival. First time ever for me to have seen the top three during the festival.

So, how was the festival itself? Fine,

• They make a mean mojito at Cinerama
• Quite a surprise, the little snow storm on Friday the 1st.
• The parties were great this year.
• Enjoyed seeing some faces from festivals past
