So after a very busy day, doing the Central Park and MoMA and doing quite some walking around the city, I wound up at my favorite place in NY - Bryant Park. Excellent place!
Just sitting there relaxing, minding my own business.. Then I saw this stage with all those people sitting and waiting in composed but eager anticipation. Thought it’d be interesting to see what was gonna happen especially when I noticed that 90% of the public was black/hispanic: “Aha!!!! A Latin Thing Is Coming!!”. Great evening, man!
See, the Dutch DO like their salsa and bachata! |

Salsa Views: A Compai is kinda what we use in my language for a senior citizen - and this guy ruled the floor!! |
Salsa Views: With dance there’s this rule that you never know for sure how skillful someone is at the craft until (s)he’s struts the Stuff.. Believe me, the girl was impressed! |
Salsa Views: When they were finished dancing, almost half the crowd stood up to applaud Compai. Gave me goose bumps.. I wish I was so nimble when I reach his age, better start excercising, I guess.. |
 Salsa Views: Great atmosphere! |
