Final day, walkabout to shopping centers..

Lucky gutshot, luckyMe!!

Done, so now it’s getting to the airport and off to Hong Kong and then back to da LowLands.. (sob..)
I started with walking around to go get a boat and cruise along the river, but things went differently. I decided to do a walkabout to Chinatown and then get a boat to take me back up north. The whole thing took me about three hours.
And it was highly enjoyable!

A bit less glamorous..

Man, when I started this day, I was just dead tired, not in the mood to go do the tourist thing in Bangkok. But, hey, since this would be the last night I’d spend here, I thought I’d better move the old behind and start wandering around town. Here are a few pics..

Just loved this view from the stairs at the bridge..

There’s a technical name for these things, but I’m going for ‘bloody fast boat thingies’
