Movie: Alps (Yorgos Lanthimos, Greece, 2011, 93 min.) imdb link

Date: Jan 31, 2012

Rating: ★★★★½
(FUCKINGLY FUNNY AND WEIRD)

Plot: If you’re in need of a temporary replacement of your recently deceased love one, the people of Alps can help you. But who’s really the client?

Cast: All-round impressive cast, especially the female leads were impressive.

Visuals: Tight, nothing extravagant. The weirdness of the plot and characters don’t need any support from the visuals.

Conclusion: Highly entertaining, a very interesting and original story idea, very well executed. It kept me wondering, confused and laughing.
Greek cinema leads the way in interesting and fresh cinema.
