Movie: A Temple (Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni, India, 2011, 146 min.) imdb link

Date: Jan 28, 2012

Rating: ★★★★☆
(almost 2.5hrs, beautiful scenes, dialogue and characters. A bit unfocused plot-wise sometimes)

Plot: In a small Indian village, a man has a vision of a deity. This vision changes everything in his life: the people around him and the village itself.

Cast: Nothing special, very solid performance by the cast

Visuals: Yeah, really need to go to India – beautiful scenery mixed with fast-paced editing.

Conclusion: Well, the movie really is preaching about.. something Holy. But mostly it’s about people’s weaknesses and the exploitation thereof. I enjoyed the very long session, a very interesting movie.
