Movie: Café Noir (Jung Sung-Il, 2009, South Korea, 197 min. ) ![]()
Date: Jan 28, 2010
Rating:

(197 minutes!!! )
Plot: It starts with a husband resolving his wife’s infidelity by crashing their car with both of them and their daughter in it. And then, things just seem to happen in all different directions.
Cast: Nothing special
Visuals: Very long cityscape shots.
Conclusion:A very long movie with a lot of boring scenes, yet somehow sometimes very intriguing. Nice references to classic South-Korean movies like OldBoy
and The Host.
But still, too friggin’ long to do a complex study about philosophy, Crime&Punishment, etc.
