IFFR 2009 – Unmade Beds

Plot: Two people living in the same squatters community warehouse, two different stories. One is longing for love, attention and recognition. The other longs for love without the predictable stuff.
Cast: Great cast; Fernando Tielve as the teenage boy, gave a great performance. Could become the next (annoying) Spanish heartthrob movie star, yikes!
Visuals: Not a lot of fancy stuff, just a few weird dream-like sequences. Emphasis is on the characters.
Conclusion: Went to the movie with a friend of mine and we both felt that the movie was targeted at younger viewers, the 20-somethings. While the story didn’t keep me interested the whole time, the music was great and catchy. Should be the other way around, or am I getting too old? Heheh..
