Had another fun email chat with my pal FlowerChild from LondonTown. He asked me if I knew Michael Franti and his band Spearhead. And like a bleeding breathing encyclopedia I start telling him about the artist’s background, adding links with more resources and why I don’t really think much of this guy’s music. What I did remember was that Franti had the guts to go to Iraq to make a movie called I Know I’m Not Alone about the people there and their lives. Haven’t seen it yet, but I do respect anybody who tries to make a difference..
At the moment I’m typing this, they just reported Rumsfeld ’s been dumped: a nice day after all..
