Richard Pryor (1940-2005) - “You have to have lived some life. You’ve got to have paid some dues..”
Well, it’s always sad to see a clown pass away.. But Richard Pryor was never a clown or just a comedian. He kinda resembled most of us in the way we screw up things and he kinda shows most of us the many ways you can enjoy that struggle called Life In General.
Well I remember, waaayyy back when I was an 11-year old, I caught a peek of his stand-up show on TV. I was lucky, because my dad didn’t notice me catching the show and because it was one of the most harmless and clean parts of the show - the hunting sketch, remember? Well, I sure as hell did!
The list is kinda endless: Mudbone, SuperNigga, etc. But my favorite sketch is the one with Chevie Chase - the job interview. Heheh.. just thinking about it.. while typing this.. whahahaha.. shit, it hurts..

Thank you, Mister Richard Franklin Lennox Thomas Pryor III
